Economics, defined as the branch of knowledge concerned with the production, consumption, and transfer of wealth, is central to all of our lives. Despite its importance, Economics is not generally taught in schools, at least not at a level of sophistication that would make it of much use. This has forced many people, who would otherwise benefit substantially from the lessons of the dismal science.
Certainly, you could go to a university to study the subject, but a university education is very expensive, and only getting more so. Many hard-working people can't afford the money or time costs of spending four years focused on furthering their education. Nonetheless, many of these people would love the opportunity to further their education should they be given the choice. Your Economics Education believes anyone with the will to work for it should be given the opportunity to take charge of your education. This is embodied in the mission statement of the site, shown below.
